Gateway to an extremely popular tourist resort destination, Palm Springs International Airport has a wide selection of regularly scheduled flights that swell in number depending on the season. The airport has daily direct nonstop flights to many major cities across the United States such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Las Vegas, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Phoenix and Atlanta as well as Vancouver and Calgary in season. Palm Springs International Airport has a unique design that roughly follows an ordinary layout, with a large hub for departures, a concourse sticking out to one side that caters to more departures, a baggage claim wing and a ticketing wing, all of which are joined by a central atrium. Three parking lots are positioned outside the terminal building, any of which can be used for either short-term or long-term parking.
Terminal Information
Palm Springs International Airport has an interesting layout that is functional and easy to navigate. As you go through the main entrance, you will see a wide atrium in front of you that leads to the main Departures hub. To the left of the main entrance is the Baggage Claim wing, to the right is the Ticketing area and a smaller departures concourse.
